Candidate must have a Day Skipper ticket.
For the SAS exam the candidate must have logged at least 400 nautical miles and have 8 night hours on watch and three night entries into candidate’s home port.
Content – Preparation for the SAS exam, including three night entries into harbour.
Duration – 4 nights which will include 4 night hours on watch, 3 night entries into Simon’s Town and a theory element
Cost – R7,000.00
Course fees exclude SAS exam fees, which are payable directly to SAS.
