Paul Dennett, principal and owner, established False Bay School of Yachting in 2001 on his return from abroad running mega yachts. This included being Captain of the 56m (189’) three masted schooner “FLEURTJE”.
Paul has extensive training knowledge and experience both in South Africa and abroad. Paul has taught sailing to both beginners and yacht masters at Sailing Schools in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
False Bay School of Yachting is situated at the False Bay Yacht Club in the historic naval town of Simonstown.
We offer South African Sailing (S.A.S.) courses from competent crew to yachtmaster.
False Bay School of Yachting and offers all SAS courses from competent crew to yachtmaster.
All instructors are qualified and SAS examiners conduct exams.
The school does have a SAS examiner but we do not examine our own students.
